Job description
We are looking for a friendly and professional, hardworking experienced Office Manager/Administrator, who is keen for a new challenge to join our new animal feed business based just outside Exeter.
This is a brand-new post at our Head Office and you will join a small team already on site. This is a full time role, the hours of work are Monday- Friday 8am-5pm.
You must be comfortable to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to many different tasks and situations. You will need to be able to work both in a team and under your own initiative.
Key responsibilities –
Answering telephone calls with suppliers and customers.
Process Sales & Purchase orders
Ensure stock levels are monitored
Ensure compliance paperwork is up to date
Assisting with compliance/audit inspections
Manage a small office team
Support the management team as required
Take responsibility for the appearance and upkeep of the office areas
Skills required –
Experience of using accounting packages (eg Sage 200)
Experience using Microsoft programmes such as Word and Excel
Good people skills to manage a small team
Positive and customer focussed attitude
Able to prioritise tasks and workloads to ensure that deadlines are met
An ability to adapt and respond quickly to a fast changing environment
Observant and detail orientated
Ideally previous experience in an Office Manager role
