Assistant Manager, Back Office (Retail)
This position reports to the Manager-Back Office/VP-Back Office and is primarily responsible for performing the following functions:
- Head the Back-Office retail Team. Responsible for overall performance of the department.
- Act as Branch Compliance Officer (BCO) for all compliance related tasks pertaining to the department.
- Administrator for Online Account Opening (OAO) and YONO Portals and all activities related to the same.
- SGIC Portal Administrator and ensure all the activities are performed smoothly by the SGIC desk.
- Responsible for Toll Free Number Operations. Provide necessary guidance to the staff handling Toll Free Number.
- Ensure Dispatch of letters/notices entrusted to Back Office are completed as per timelines.
- TFSA/T5/NR4 reporting.
- Self Assessments.
- Ensuring TAT for each activity of the department.
- Submitting periodic performance reports to VP(Back Office)
Job Requirements
- University degree in business, finance, economics, accountancy or similar area required.
- Strong communication skills with ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to understand various operations and assess the effectiveness of controls.
- Knowledge of the financial sector
- Ability to problem-solve and multi-task.
- Work effectively in a group environment.
- Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and rapid change.
- Experience using data analytics and visualization tools would be an asset.
