Northern Trust Co. Ltd has a retained portfolio covering over 8 million sq ft, in more than 200 industrial, trade and office park locations. The portfolio contains over 4,000 individual units, the vast majority of which are let to SMEs; and supports over 25,000 jobs. Through recent acquisitions and development almost 1 million sq ft has been added to the portfolio in the last 2 years. The portfolio extends from the South Midlands to the central belt of Scotland and is actively managed by our in-house surveying practice, which has regional offices in the North West, North East, Yorkshire, Midlands and Scotland.
Working as part of the Midlands team, this new role will provide an exciting opportunity to create a strong team environment whist being the first port of call with new enquiries and our existing tenants, maintaining the organised and efficient structure of the day to day running of the office.

- Letters & Mail Merges where applicable
- Maintaining Business Rates Spreadsheets
- Dealing with Business Rates Queries

- General Support to Regional Property Manager, Surveying & Lettings Team

- COT Forms – ingoing & outgoing
- Data Input on to Qube
- Maintaining Tenant Records
- Managing incoming and outgoing post
- Main reception cover ad hoc
- Business Risks – Assisting Credit Control with Debts
- Rightmove
- Brochures
- Landlord Meters
- Report collating
- Diary Management for RPM and Surveyors
- Training course booking (eg Fire Marshall, First Aid etc)
- Other aspects, ad hoc and as required
The candidate will have good coordination and analytical skills, along with excellent Excel experience and good all round computer literacy.
It is essential the individual is an excellent communicator, with good common sense, and who can deal with people at all levels in a courteously professional manner. It is important the individual can work as part of the team with a ‘can-do’ attitude. We seek an individual with the right personal skills to add value to this role.
Salary: Dependent on experience
