We need an Administrator to do the jobs we don’t like. This is a great opportunity to get stuck into a high performing laid back team.
To be successful in this role, a good sense of humour is essential but not necessary. You will need to be organised, structured, good at multi-tasking and able to manage your own time.
What Will You Be Doing From Day To Day
- Create order from the chaos that one of us has created.
- Support the recruitment process in obtaining references for new employees.
- Screening telephone calls, handling queries, and acting as “Gatekeeper”.
- Dealing with day-to-day emails and enquiries both internally and externally efficiently and professionally.
- Sending out birthday and thank you cards only to those who deserve them.
- Completing Care Professional appraisals and one to one supervision either in person or via zoom.
- Arranging post and ordering office supplies, including PPE.
- Printing and other administrative tasks that may arise.
- Enter into the odd provoked battle with the printer.
- Make endless cups of tea, coffee and occasionally correct our grammar.
Essential Skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- A good communicator, but we are willing to consider exceptional communicators.
- Providing that discreet and confidential service as in any support role.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Preference will be given to candidates who can decipher handwritten notes and cryptic emails.
Personal Criteria
- A “can-do” attitude with persistence to chase for information and a resilience to get the job done.
- A great manager of your own time and work at a great pace (we’re not always busy, but we like to tell people we are)
- A great telephone manner and always show ambassadorial qualities to both colleagues and customers.
- You will have access to privileged and confidential data about our business and our people so you must be discreet, dependable, and of course confidential.
- Proven experience in a similar role with references.
Additional Information
Start Date: ASAP
Basic Salary: £14,000 pro rata
Location: Letchworth Garden City
Hours: 4 hours a day, Mondays - Fridays
