We are looking for an Office Administrator, to join our expanding team at Lockington Hall (nr Derby & Nottingham).
FPCR are one of the country’s leading award-winning multi-disciplinary environmental design practices, established for over 65 years.
Based in the pleasant setting of Lockington Hall, we are looking for an Office Administrator to provide support to our Office Manager and the practice. The role of Office Administrator will be varied but will primarily involve providing administration support for HR, contractual documentation and Health and Safety.
We are looking for someone with a bright and positive personality, who has excellent interpersonal skills and is good working as part of a team. Good organisational skills and attention to detail are also required. The successful candidate will have previous Administrator experience, or similar transferable skills.
The role would involve:
- Providing HR administration for staff including updating personnel records, issuing of contracts, induction support, and monitoring of appraisals.
- Providing administrative support for contractual documentation between the practice and our clients.
- Assisting with the administration of online portals for our Accreditations and clients.
- Assisting with keeping Health and Safety records up to date, including the issue of PPE and administration of training courses.
- Assisting in the preparation of meetings and practice events.
- Providing reception cover as and when required.
- Assist and support the Senior Directors and the Office Manager with other adhoc activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in an administrator role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A bright and positive personality with a “can do” attitude.
- Good organisational skills
- Good attention to detail
- Be a team player with ability to take Initiative and work in a pro-active manner
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Candidates with the following will be looked upon favourably:
- Experience of HR administration
- Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
Benefits
We are offering a salary of £22,000 - £25,000 (dependent on experience and skills) for a 35-hour working week (7 hours per day). Hours of work to be agreed at job offer.
