Lancaster Arts: Where ideas, people and places connect
The Associate Creative Producer is a fantastic role for someone who is passionate about working with people. This role is at the centre of our engagement work which runs throughout our programme, from engaging with the communities all around us to supporting the project management needs in our ticketed programme and with commissions, working closely with artists and arts organisations. The Associate Creative Producer will join our Programming team and work closely with our Creative Producer and Curator.
Lancaster Arts is part of the combined arts portfolio of Arts Council England. We are proud of our support for artists exploring new directions for their work and linking this with other artists and particularly with people who are not artists! You will have a track record of high-quality project management with a deep understanding of the creative process and an understanding of the creative ecology of the northwest. You will also be someone who can grow and develop with us as we explore further opportunities together.
Lancaster Arts is a distinctive contemporary arts organisation in the Northwest of England with a renowned reputation for cutting edge arts practice in all art forms. Our home is at the heart of the beautiful Lancaster University campus and our venues include the Great Hall, Nuffield Theatre and Peter Scott Gallery and we regularly host work off campus in the Lancaster District. Please visit our website to learn about what we do.
We are a friendly small team but we need to better reflect the rich diversity of the northwest. We strongly welcome applications from disabled, D/deaf and/or neuro-divergent people and those from black, Asian, and ethnically diverse backgrounds. We will guarantee an interview to disabled candidates who meet all essential criteria. We hope that the successful applicant will be able to start working with us in April during our Spring Season.
If you would like an informal discussion about this role, please contact our Curator, Miranda Stearn at [email protected]
