Office Administrator
Job Description:
The Office Administrator position will be responsible for providing administrative support to all members of the medical staff. Duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, preparing patient charts, and maintaining accurate patient records. The Office Administrator will also assist in maintaining the office and equipment, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and greet patients on a daily basis
- Prepare patient charts prior to appointments
- Prepare and distribute routine patient communications (e.g., correspondence, memos, letters, faxes, etc.)
- Maintain accurate patient records (identify changes and provide notices to patients)
- Maintain contact lists and set up new business for patients
- Maintain office inventory and supplies as needed
- Order office supplies as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the office manager or director of nursing administration
Experience:
·Previous experience in an administrative role preferred but not required.
·Previous experience with medical records preferred but not required.
·Previous experience with QuickBooks Online software a plus.
·Previous experience with medical terminology preferred but not required.
·Previous knowledge of insurance coverage (i.e., insurance eligibility verification) preferred but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £49,000.00-£52,000.00 per year
