As our newly appointed Administration Assistant you will provide general administration assistance and office assistance to our specialist legal teams.
Day to day you’ll:
- Work on the front of house / reception as the role involves sitting at the reception along with other admin tasks as per the below
- Communicate with clients over the telephone, by email and in face-to-face meetings
- Communicate with and provide updates to other solicitors and other professional organisations
- Set up client files within our case management system
- Produce initial client documentation and checking such documents upon their return
- Carry out Solicitor and client due diligence
- Request documentation fundamental to the transaction
- Ensure documents are returned by client’s and work providers, chasing them if required and progressing transactions
- Log correspondence to the correct files / matters
- Enter data into the correct fields in the case management system from correspondence received
- Log and complete tasks on the case management system
- Perform general administration tasks
We require a person who:
- Can work to deadlines
- Has a real attention to detail with a keen eye
- Is computer literate
- Has the ability to prioritise work loads
- Demonstrates the willingness to adhere to and surpass set targets
- Can work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Has an excellent telephone manner, client care and enthusiasm
- Must be able to communicate well both orally and in writing
- Has experience of working in an admin role
- Has experience of working in either a client care/customer service or reception environment
