LEGAL COUNSEL – NUCLEAR INDUSTRY
SOUTH EAST BUCKINGHAMSHIRE (HYBRID WORKING – 2 DAYS IN OFFICE, 3 FROM HOME)

Role Overview:
As part of a UK team of 6 lawyers, and Reporting to the Head of Legal & Deputy General Counsel based in the UK, the role of Legal Counsel requires a high calibre legal professional.
You will primarily support on a broad range of UK and EU legal matters.
You will work on a wide variety of projects and strategic initiatives.
Among other areas, the role includes commercial drafting responsibilities.
You will work closely with our client’s subsidiary businesses in UK, Germany, the Netherlands and the US, providing timely advice and guidance on a multitude of relevant matters.
You will provide timely professional advice, challenge and guidance to safeguard the interests of the business and enhance commercial operations.
You will support strategic projects to further the interests of the business and minimise potential risks.
An interest in becoming an advocate in the area of ESG law also desired.
Experience and Skills Required:
A UK qualified solicitor with relevant post qualification experience in either a private practice or in house environment
Good understanding of contract law in multinational jurisdictions
A strong understanding of legal regulatory requirements.
Experience of sensitively managing cross cultural and cross-functional differences, and developing interpersonal relationships in order to implement effective solutions.
