Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Band 3 technician to join the Stroke Occupational Therapy team in Morriston Hospital. The role will involve working under the occupational therapists' guidance to implement intervention programmes with service users who are inpatients within the hospital. The role will include interventions to improve and maintain occupational performance, and will be geared towards the individual needs and goals of the service users.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake therapeutic handling of patients and will include the need to undertake home visits to patients' homes to deliver and fit appropriate equipment to facilitate discharge.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply
