At Ravenswood House we are looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team of therapy staff to provide outstanding care to service users in a secure inpatient mental health setting.

Ravenswood House is a forensic hospital for males aged 18-65 years, with both medium and low secure wards. We have five ward teams which support service users on their recovery pathway, from admission to discharge.
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a keen interest in working with people to have a healthy lifestyle. This person will support our service users to progress through their journey by engaging them in meaningful activity and working towards treatment goals.
Having great interpersonal and caring skills is essential.
In our department we use a variety of activities (cooking, gardening, sports, personal care, etc) as a tool for engaging in a meaningful life. This helps service users to work on their goals practically and to develop and maintain the skills they need, to live the life they want.
If appointed, you will receive a comprehensive induction and ongoing training and support from the Occupational Therapy team.
