Band 3 to 4 Occupational Therapy assistant development
In-patient Ortho-Geriatric and Frailty Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist
Part-time position 0.8WTE. Flexible working or other part time hours would be considered.
We have an opportunity for a therapy assistant to join our in-patient therapy team at Haslemere Community hospital in Surrey. We are a friendly and experienced team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Assistants. We work with people, with a wide range of complex conditions, who require further rehabilitation prior to being discharged home or to suitable alternative environments. We are an integral part of the MDT and work closely together to plan discharges.
We will support you to attain competencies in this field. You will be supported with regular clinical supervision and in service training.
We value the importance of continuous improvement culture across our teams to provide high quality care to our service users. You will be expected to contribute to the on-going development of clinical practice, standards, research as well as policies, protocols, guidelines and service development.
Currently the team operate a five day service, but in accordance with other services, seven day working is a possibility in the future.
