Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;
You will be working as a Winter driver - supplying a gritting services for Ringway on behalf of Surrey County Council. As a Winter Driver will be expected to remain on call as part of a rota through the entire winter season which is classified as October until April. The driver will be notified of a gritting run as and when required. The call out is a minimum of 4 hours and therefore £80 per hour. Then £20 per hour for each full hour above 4 hours.

Experience of working as a driver would be an advantage with a Minimum class C
