Job description
You will have a GCSE/GCE Grade C level or equivalent in Maths and English. You will be a team player and have skills in motivating others and experience in working in a healthcare setting. You will have good communication and negotiation skills, experience of of facilitating group and individual session planning and delivery and IT skills. You will have a range of practical skills particularly in cooking , gardening and domestic skills .
Additional practical or creative skills are desirable. Additional duties will include animal care and maintenance tasks at our Spinney Meadow site. You will need to be adaptable and able to work independently. You will have a non- judgemental attitude and a recovery orientated approach.
You will have an ability to motivate others and support them to actively participate in meaningful activities. This role may include weekend working dependant on service need. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa and also does not appear on the shortage occupation list for healthcare and education.
