Job description
You will work closely with the occupational therapist within the team to support the assessment of children and young people's functional needs and their environment, with a focus on their strengths to address their mental health needs. Work collaboratively with the young person and their support system to support the Occupational therapist to deliver focused intensive brief interventions using community resources to enable the young person to engage in activities that are important to them and that positively support their mental health
This role is supported by strong links to AHP's working in both CORE CAMHS and the other specialist CAMHS teams. This is an exciting opportunity to demonstrate what this role can bring both to the team and across the wider mental health function
This is a diverse role. We are looking for professionals with a passion for working with our Children & Families, experience in this area is not essential (although beneficial) as you will have the opportunity to expand your skill set and have the opportunity to integrate with our core services, offering learning and development opportunities such as shadowing and specialist supervision and consultation from others working with CYP & Families
The team offer support to CYP and families 8am-10pm weekdays and bank holidays, and will likely include weekends moving forwards.
