We have a vacancy for an Occupational Therapist Assistant here at Copeland Ward Rehabilitation High Dependency Unit. The vacancy is a permanent post with working hours Monday to Friday.
Copeland Ward provides in-patient assessment, care and rehabilitation for adults with complex and enduring mental health difficulties who are aged 18 upwards.
The patient's length of stay here will depend on progress through the structured rehabilitation programme. Services users can be referred here primarily for structured rehabilitation which is usually up to 18-24 months.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable individual to work within Copeland Service. You will work under supervision and direction of the Occupational Therapist. You will work collaboratively to ensure that service users activities/interventions are provided alongside a clinical care plan. This will involve supporting with input into functional assessments and both individual and group recovery focused interventions. You will be supported to deliver sessions such as Life Skills, Coping skills, community integration and bespoke or unit activity and community-based networking.
