We are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapy Technician to work in supporting adults with a dementia and cognitive impairment and attend day services.
The postholder will form part of an integrated assessment and support team, which includes an Occupational Therapist and Community Psychiatric Nurse. They will be based at Bridgend Resource Centre but will outreach their work to all day settings in Bridgend. They will support with the day centres and outreach to people’s homes.
They will promote and support individuals to live the lives they want to live and educate and support carers. They will focus on person centred activity and inclusion opportunities both within day centre and in the person’s own community.
The post will be initially until April 2024 and will be reviewed annually from this point.
