We are currently seeking the services of both full-time and part time, compassionate and dedicated Home Care Support Workers for elderly and vulnerable individuals within their own homes and in their community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing non-medical assistance with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management, companionship, shopping and domestic support to senior individuals. We are looking for a candidates who are honest, punctual and attentive to detail. Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the food and medication is taken as scheduled.
- Assist patients in washing and dressing.
- Ensure that non-oral medications are applied as prescribed.
- Observe clients for signs of physical or emotional changes.
- Develop a working relationship with other professionals involved in a client's care.
- Support clients with attending appointments, shopping and recreational activities
- Ensure that clients are safe and their dignity and respect maintained at all times.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate would have access to own transport with a UK driver's licence.
- Ideal candidate will have existing UK care experience.
- Ideal candidate will have PVG membership.
- Ideal candidate will have rights to work in the UK with no restrictions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 - 40 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
