Occupational Therapy Administrative Assistant
Band 3 £23,914 - £25,808 pro rata
Plus £1201 Distant Islands Allowance pro rata
15 Hours per week
Permanent Post
An opportunity has arisen for a well-organised Administrative Assistant/ Support Worker to provide first line contact for the Occupational Therapy Service and general administrative support. This will include supporting Occupational Therapists with patients care and contact with carers, members of the public and professionals across a variety of agencies.
The post is shared with a colleague who provides cover on Monday to Wednesday and good communication between the two post holders will be essential.
We are looking for someone with good verbal and written communication skills and competent typing and administrative skills. A working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database is essential as well as experience of working in a health or social care environment.
The post holder will work across a variety of sites within Stornoway. Driving license is essential
