Location: Nottingham
Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract, Part-time, 30 hours a week
Occupational Therapist Pay Rate: £29.17 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties of the Social Services Occupational Therapist:
- To work in the children's local authority team.
- To complete assessments for children currently on the waiting list.
- Following the completion of the assessment, outcomes are to be identified and a SMART plan compiled. This may involve provision of specialist equipment and/or major adaptations to increase function and independence.
- Specialist assessments for postural management seating and manual handling may be required.
- Assessments to be written in professional format and saved to the case file and shared with the family.
- Maintain plans and case notes in a timely manner and to a professional standard.
Requirements of the Social Services Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent experience within social services / local authority / council
- Registered with the HCPC
