The Role
The successful candidate will be leading the full occupational health service for one of our critical Mills in EMEA, based at Barrow, UK.
You will provide specialist advice to the employee and the business on all aspects regarding the impact of employee health on work, and work on health.
Accountability to plan and deliver health and wellness programmes and initiatives which have sound legal, clinical and business rationale.
Coordinate OH team on site and ensure adherence and compliance to medical and K-C standards for health surveillance and Management Referrals.
You will provide specialist input to the location Management Team, Employees and to contribute professionally as appropriate to the UK Health Services team whilst ensuring compliance with health related regulations and company policies.
Adhere at all times to Professional and Ethical Codes of Conduct and Kimberly-Clark Standards.
Lead on local health and wellness approaches which have work impact and to be actively involved in the development and implementation of health-related programmes and policies.
Management of a part time Technician
What You will need
Ideally you will be on part 3 of the NMC register as specialist public health community nurse or have a Diploma in Occupational Health.
If you have the OH degree but not at part 3, then we would be willing to support you to get on the part 3 of the NMC register as development for our employees at Kimberly Clark is important to us.
Have experience of working autonomously in a factory environment
The role demands energy, innovativeness and for someone to be able to work autonomously in role and as part of a team
The position requires good organizational ability
Excellent skills of influencing and communication are necessary.
There is a requirement for strong internal customer interface and a demonstration of business alignment.
