Position Summary

We are currently recruiting a Nutritionist to join our quickly expanding team. The ideal candidate will have an ability to deliver evidence-based nutritional advice to a diverse client base. The candidate should be comfortable consulting with customers via our virtual platform and developing tailored nutrition and lifestyle plans to maximise customer’s health and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in related fields.

The role will require regular travel to Brighton.


Contract type: Permanent
Annual salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours of work: Full time, Monday to Friday (40hrs/week), 9-17.30 including 0.5h unpaid break
Location: remote, working from home
Deadline: Monday 27th February


Main Responsibilities

  • Responding to a diverse range of customers nutritional needs via telephone and email
  • Assessing the previous and current health profile of individuals evaluating food intake, exercise and lifestyle
  • Offering educated advice, meal suggestions and lifestyle changes both verbally and via written consultation notes
  • Contributing to blog posts and client webinars
  • Providing onward referral to other Teladoc services or external sources where appropriate
  • Using a safe, encrypted online service and bespoke consultation platform
  • Adopting a customer first approach in everything that you do
  • Updating and maintaining accurate customer records within the database during and following all patient interaction
  • Working within a governance framework designed to deliver safe, effective and customer lead care

About You

  • Previous experience of providing bespoke nutritional advice that is both practical and evidence-based.
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands and experience of working in fast paced team.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting and insight into online medicine is desirable.
  • Able to work independently as well as to contribute effectively to the team.
  • Excellent communicator – written and verbal.
  • Keen eye for detail, punctual, organised and empathetic.
  • Proactive approach to their work.
  • Experience dealing with enquiries via an array of platforms including in-house office communications (Microsoft Teams).

Education Requirements

  • Qualified Nutritionist (to degree level) with practical experience post qualification (required)
  • Current active registration with an independent professional body such as AfN (desirable)
