We are looking for Band 6 nursing Team Leader to join one of our Community Nursing teams based at New Romney Clinic, New Romney.
You will be joining one of two teams supporting patients registered with GP practices working in the New Romney area and surrounding villages within the Rural Primary Care Network.

One way we support with this is by being a flexible employer. This service operates seven days a week from 8am – 10pm, allowing us to support flexible working hours. Weekend working is generally on a 1:4 ratio with days off during the week.

Each team has two senior nurses who to take responsibility for a defined geographical area, and provide clinical leadership to their Band 5, Band 4 and Band 3 staff. The team will work together to manage caseload patients delivering a high-quality service.
KCHFT is keen to support development and therefore, candidates without the specialist District Nurse qualification or having a recognised advanced clinical skills/module will be considered for trainee posts. Using the named nurse model, we want to allow nurses to spend more time with patients, promoting self-management where possible, and improving patient lives.
Staff will be required to drive their own car and are able to claim mileage costs and access the NHS car lease provision, following their probationary period.
Additional Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00-22:00 with rotational weekends
