Concept Photography is the UK's largest early years photography company providing mobile studio photography in nurseries, Pre-Schools and playgroups.
We are seeking new members to join our friendly team of photographers to provide this service within a 30-40 mile radius of Bristol.
Desirable applicants must be enthusiastic, patient and able to communicate with people of all ages in a friendly and professional manor.
Being an early years photographer is the perfect role for someone who loves being around babies and children, is confident in working independently, a problem solver and not afraid to be a bit silly every now and again to make our little subjects feel comfortable around them!
We are looking for candidates that share the same passion in photography as we do at Concept. We offer shoots indoors with our mobile studio set up (provided by us) and outdoors in the outdoors play areas/gardens of the settings. Therefor a versatile photographer with a creative imagination is key.
Experience with in Photoshop and/or Lightroom are also essential due to the post processing needed before images are sent to our head office. This also includes you having your own Mac or PC and Adobe photography package.
MUST HAVES BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR THE ROLE
· Experience in studio style photography sets up and lighting.
· Must have full UK driving license and access to own car/ van.
· Professional standard Digital camera & professional level short range zoom lens (example 24-70mm f2.8)
· Must clear an enhanced DBS Check organised through our head office.
· Flexibility for scheduling.
· Positive can-do attitude.
· Great communicator and ability to build rapport with children, parents and staff.
· Experience in Early Years Portraits desirable.
WHAT CONCEPT SUPPLY
· Full studio set up- including backdrops, stands, lights and seasonal props.
· Full initial training and ongoing training and support.
· Schedules organised in as much advance as possible to aid you with any outside freelance work you have.
WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS
· Commuting safely to the shoot via car/van.
· Setting up mobile studio or outdoor set up.
· Photograph all children at the nursery.
· Safely commute back from your days job.
· Back up images
· Edit down and crop.
· Clean/edit images to standard Concept requires.
· Send images over to head office.
· On to the next job!
HOURS AND PAY
Due to the nature of our business we have very busy and quiet seasons throughout the year. Seasons peak between April- middle of July and then again from mid-September through to the end of November.
Early starts may be required for this role. Most settings we cover have a start time between 8am- 9am arrival to destination.
Salary: £90- £150 a day- Depending on time of size of the shoot.
Ideally 3-4 days a week excluding weekends.
