A new role has been created in our marketing team as we evolve and grow our business. Our mission is to create classically designed watches that inspire people with a passion for the great outdoors. In this position, you’ll play a key role in delivering our new brand proposition, Proven through Passion, through our marketing channels in a hands-on and rewarding way.
Working closely with our Marketing Director, you’ll be involved in shaping and fulfilling marketing initiatives across all channels that deliver results. This role involves both thinking and doing. We love idea generation and seeing those ideas translate at pace to beautifully crafted content. You will work with and be part of the marketing team of a mixture of in-house and external resources to deliver our strategy.
Your focus:
- Organic Social Media - Managing and creating valuable and engaging content for our social media channels
- E-commerce Website Management - Building webpages, creating landing pages and generally evolving the content and user experience
- Email Marketing - Creating and building emails for email marketing campaigns using software such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp
- Content Writing - Writing content for our website, social media and other channels
- Analytics: Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
- Content Creators - Managing our content creators and providing them with support and direction to ensure we get regular and on-brand content
- Analytics - Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
- Research - Monitor the competitive and broader marketing landscape, and keep ahead of trends and opportunities
- Marketing calendar - Plan and manage the seasonal marketing calendar
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum two years of demonstrable marketing experience with a bias towards Social Marketing
- Sound all-round hands-on marketing skill set with good project management
- Self-sufficient executor with a can-do attitude in an evolving environment
- Analytical, able to read and understand data effectively
- This role is not primarily creative, but an eye for design is a big bonus. We would be wowed if you could create your own high-quality content
- Productive self-starter, confident working within a dynamic workplace
- Experience working to targets, managing KPIs and delivering to deadlines
- An understanding of brand nuances like tone, personality and visual identity
- Can write, edit and proof excellent copy
- A passion for outdoor pursuits
What We Offer:
- Location - Our HQ is in Christchurch, 10 minutes from the sea. Free Parking
- Typical Hours: 09:00 – 17:30, five days a week
- Hybrid Remote working - with a minimum of three days at HQ each week.
- Annual Leave: 20 days plus bank holidays + a day for your birthday.
- Skills development - On-the-job training plus two personal development days per year
- Salary: Dependent on experience
