Nursery Practitioner, Level 2
Due to our increased occupancy of children in the nursery, we have one new position available at Sawston Nursery. Working on Monday to Thursday, 33 hours and 35 minutes per week (Please note this job is throughout the year and not a term time only position),

Our current setting consists of many long standing staff who have been with us for over 10 years plus and are looking forward to welcoming the right people to join us and make a difference!
Responsibilities for this role are below:
- You must have a smile that makes each and every child feel special.
- Be prepared to be questioned by the children in the nursery such as, what do you eat for lunch, where are you going, who is your friend, and do you live in the nursery?
- You must be kind, gentle and be prepared to get down to a child's level and let them immerse you in their play.
- We need an inspiring individual who can use their initiative, understand individual child's needs and tune into their imagination.
- Can you share your ideas, and inspirations at a staff meeting where food is often available at the end of the day?
- Are you creative, pro active and like to have fun whilst teaching children through play opportunities?
Finally, being able to sing in tune is not a necessity, however, being able to sing out of tune in the classroom is essential!

Please note the current salary offered in this advert does not reflect the National Minimum Wage increase. The salary change will take effect from 1st April 2023 where a competitive increase will be made for this role.
Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced criminal records check (DBS) and full pre-employment checks, together with two references.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 33.35 per week
Salary: Up to £17,227.61 per year
