This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join the Tigers team.
Tigers nurseries are looking for highly skilled Early Years Operations Manager who will support our settings in Thatcham, Theale and Swindon to deliver quality early years education and care.
Alongside the existing Operations Manager you will lead the development and growth of our Early Years settings, championing high quality and creative early years practice.
The Operations Manager will provide leadership, direction, and support to the managers to ensure all designated settings are financially sustainable, are operating in line with legal requirements and meeting the nursery standards.

Main duties
Inspire and lead your teams to deliver high quality early years education and care.
To provide regular human resources, finance, and quality improvement updates/feedback on nursery performance to the Company Director
To proactively manage all setting managers performance, carrying out induction, regular accountability meetings, supervisions, annual performance reviews, and setting clear work and development objectives.
Ensuring all policies and procedures are always implemented and adhered to:- including ensuring that all legislation in relation to Ofsted registration, Special Needs, Safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with and that all internal company polices and procedures are followed.
Keeping up to date with current early childhood thinking/trends
To be influential in developing strong links with parents and carers.
To work with our marketing team to implement strategies, that ensure maximum occupancy.
To inspire all early year’s managers/teams to establish and maintain effective learning through a culture of creativity and innovation within each setting.
To ensure that quality is maintained at a high standard and that settings achieve at least a Good Ofsted inspection.
42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday working our shift pattern between 7.30am and 6.30pm
Location
You will be based at one of our nurseries in either Thatcham or Theale and travel to each nursery on a regular basis - Thatcham, Theale, Swindon. Company mileage will be paid between settings.
Essential criteria
Early Years Degree or equivalent Early Years and childcare qualification at Level 5.
At least 2 years experience as a Nursery Operations Manager
Good communication skills.
Full Driving License.
Proven, current experience of empowering and supporting quality improvement in settings to secure and maintain at least a good or outstanding Ofsted inspection process.
