Wolfson College, University of Oxford, is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic qualified Nursery Nurse or unqualified Nursery Assistant to join our Day Nursery team.

Wolfson is one of the largest graduate colleges in the University of Oxford. Our long established nursery provides full day care for up to 31 children. We understand that a successful nursery is built on the experience of motivated, happy staff and we realise the importance of their development.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a childcare setting and have sufficient experience to contribute to the smooth running and high-quality early years practice within the nursery. He or she will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, a good team player that enjoys planning fun activities for the children and able to build good relationships with children and families across the nursery.

The salary starting salary depends on the level of qualification. Unqualified salary is £23,057 pa, Level 2 is £24,033 pa and Level 3 is £25,096 pa. Working hours are 42.5 hours per week, worked between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. The position will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory evidence of the right to work in the UK, satisfactory health check, two satisfactory references, and signing a contract of employment.
