VERY BUSY BOARDING KENNELS!
Here at the Tarbay Centre we pride ourselves on the care we give to the animal that board with us. We provide excellent customer service, we like to spend time with our clients to assure them that we are the place to bring their beloved cats and dogs. That they are safe and treated as if they were our own.
This comes with a lot of responsibilities. We expect our staff to give 100% on every shift. This means we are looking for, Hard work, initiative, precision, prioritising, communication is key, Working well with others as well as alone. Time keeping is essential, our day runs on a time specific routine that must be fulfilled.
Applicants must be extremely flexible, our shifts chop and change and no day is generally the same. You will also be available to step in for last minute sick and holiday cover.
Day to day
Cat pens are cleaned, Dogs are exercised 4 times a day, Kennels are cleaned, Feeding and Medications are given when required. You will also be trained on our computer system.
In between these duties we make sure to spend time with all of our boarders.
Social Media - Videos and picture on Facebook and Instagram daily.
We have number of different shifts that cover the day, that vary between 7am-8pm
You Will be expected to work Weekends, Bank holidays and over the Christmas and New Year periods.
Each shifts has it's own responsibilities and tasks which must be completed.
All applicants must have a great love of animals, have experience within the kennel environment - EXPERIENCE WITH ALL KIND OF DOG BREEDS AND TEMPERAMENTS
0 Hour Contract to start
You will be placed on a 3-6 month probation period.
Hours: Minimum of 10 (more for covering holidays etc)
