B6 is a 32 bedded trauma and orthopaedic ward, we also have a new Plastic surgery service and are a dementia friendly ward. We are SCAPE accredited, caring for patients who have undergone a variety of orthopaedic and plastic surgery procedures
You will embrace the challenge of working in a highly diverse environment, committed to becoming the safest organisation in the NHS.
You will be a Qualified Nurse with significant experience in a relevant area, and possess a Mentorship qualification or completed synergy training. You will be registered with the NMC and have orthopaedic experience.
You will be able to demonstrate high standards of care which is achieved through evidence based practice, evidence of continuing personal development and also have experience of managing teams and are willing to further develop your management skills.
Taking on the role of co-ordinator, you will support junior staff, manage patient flow and be responsible for patient care.
You must be able to work as a team member and an independent practitioner, adhering to the NMC code of conduct. Demonstrate self-motivation and leadership skills, together with the ability to communicate effectively.
