Please note this is a full time and part time post. The salary for part time position will be pro-rata.
JOB PURPOSE:
To act as a member of the care team under the supervision of registered NMAHP Practitioner.
To assist patients to achieve their care and rehabilitation goals.
Provide support and evidence based care by assisting the planning, implementing, delivery and evaluation of care
Undertake baseline assessments within clearly defined parameters for the identified area of care delivery.
Use specialist technical and practical skills to deliver flexible, person centred safe and effective care
KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
Formal qualification at HNC Level or equivalent level of experience in a health / education / social care environment plus short specialist courses relevant to specific clinical area.
Awareness of health legislation relevant to the clinical area.
Knowledge of the clinical speciality/area process, techniques and / or activities relevant to client group.
Ability to apply a range of technical and practical skills.
Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
Time management, planning and organisational skills.
Working knowledge of basic information technology.
Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
Ability to learn and develop new skills and maintain a record of learning.
Full driving license holder
