What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for understanding resource requirements and constraints and building a work plan to optimise resource utilisation, working collaboratively with other planning and field teams (including partner organisations) to plan and schedule NSTs for specific job types.
The role carries a high level of responsibility as you will look after a large geographical area, manage multiple stakeholders and be expected to flex between various elements of the Planner role based on business requirements.
The role is also a key interface between Thames Water and its customers and you’ll be responsible for contacting customers (via written correspondence) to inform them on progress throughout their journey. This will involve proactively working with relevant stakeholders to ensure we meet our customer promises.
What you should bring to the role
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, customer service environment, ideally having scheduled work for field-based teams
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to analyse date to identify potential issues
- IT literacy
