Job description
The Stag at Mentmore is looking for a passionate, dedicated, seasoned Hospitality worker for a full time Front of House role with a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in a similar position.
The contract would be for a minimum of 40 hours a week, Weds - Sun.
Salary offered is dependent on experience. Cash tips paid weekly.

We pride ourselves on Seasonal menus, boasting fresh, local produce and drinks. We welcome guests to enjoy our bar, garden and dining offering in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Our ideal applicant will have proven experience in but not limited to;
- Restaurant section service and shift supervision
- Busy but friendly bar service
- Basic barista skills
- Cellar keeping and cask ale conditioning
- A sound understanding of wines and spirits
- A keen interest in the local dining scene ( ie. you like visiting other pubs and restaurants, even in your time off!)
- Knowledge of seasonal produce and local suppliers
- A friendly and energetic personality to get along with our vibrant team and guests
- Community spirit
- Available on evenings and weekends, throughout our peak Seasonal periods (Summer & Christmas)
- Able to get involved with jobs outside of "the usual" ; gardening, cleaning, admin, organising events, community workshops and activities.
