Job description
This is a hugely exciting time for the Sport and Active Communities Team, as we have secured funding from sportscotland to upscale our work around Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I).
This has allowed us to create Project Activator posts that will have a city-wide focus on developing and integrating ED&I projects and programmes across the work of the Community Sport and wider Sport & Active Communities Teams.
The focus of our EDI work will be on the following priority groups;
- Children and young people from ethnic minority backgrounds
- Children and adults who have difficulties with their mental health or wellbeing
- Care experienced young people
- People who experience social isolation
- Older adults living with long term health conditions
