Job description
Overview of role
Class C work involves mainly multi-drop deliveries to our customers' stores, working 5 days over 7, starting at 3 am daily.
Key Accountabilities
- You will be an experienced and skilled multi-drop driver with a Class C licence (held for at least 12 months).
- Hold an up-to-date CPC card.
- You will work dayshift, starting at 3 am on a 5 from 7 shift pattern with overtime available. Part-time roles are also available.
- You will be part of our team who pride themselves on providing excellent customer service whilst demonstrating safe and courteous driving on the road every day.
- We all take responsibility for our health, safety, and well-being and the safety of others. Reporting to a Transport Front Line Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe delivery and/or collection of all goods to/from our customers. As well as providing accurate information with a driver debrief.
- In a customer-facing role, you will be a strong ambassador from Allied Bakeries, demonstrating a highly professional service.
The Right Person
- An annual basic salary of £32,919

We'd prefer that you have relevant industry experience but will consider those who are qualified drivers without relevant experience providing you can demonstrate the aptitude to put safety first and deliver excellent service to our customers and passion for our Kingsmill, Allisons and Sunblest brands.
