Skilled Operative Required AM Shift 05.15 - 14.30 hrs

£11.90 per hour plus additional benefits

A busy and demanding role that requires a variety of skills and flexibility. Understanding quality, product and safety requirements and be able to handle non routine situations which may arise. Will need to report problems and keep work area tidy and free from hazards.

Organise own work activities and determine priorities of product to meet production schedules and other targets such as costs, productivity, quality and safety.
Carry out a range of manual tasks and activities and ensure all tasks are finished within permitted time frames.
Check products and materials against the required quality standards to ensure they meet specifications.
Supply the required product to fulfil the slicing requirements from the holding chiller to the slicing lines.
Record temperature and weight of bacon. Ensure that too soft product is re-frozen.
Ensure new product conforms to customer requirements.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently
Practical / manual handling skills
Basic H&S awareness
Basic Food Safety Awareness
Computor skills needed.
