Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives to work in their Foundary to assist in the aluminium investment casting process. Full training will be given so you do not need to have worked in this field before.
Main Duties
- Aluminium melt preparation prior to casting
- Cleaning and preparing moulds for casting
- Pouring molten metal into the moulds (casting)
- Moving moulds following casting
- Removing the ceramic shell from the finished cast
- Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
Requirements
- A Manufacturing/Factory/Production/Construction environment.
- You will possess a good work ethic, a good level of physical coordination and have excellent time keeping skills.
- You must be physically fit as the role entails a high degree of manual handling and long periods of standing.
- Safety boots will be required.
Shifts Available
Monday to Thursday 6am-4.30pm - 40 hours per week
There is the opportunity for optional overtime in other departments on Friday.
