Job description
Cliffe Kennels is a family owned busy working kennels offering Rescue, Boarding facilities and stray kennels.
We are looking for a hard working, experienced and dedicated new member to join our team.
The position is live in. The property is a 2/3 bedroom rural, cosy, period cottage with its own garden.
Suitable applicants will have the following.
* Experience of working in a busy kennel environment.
* Understanding & knowledge of dogs and their needs.
* Be able to demonstrate a commitment to the animals in your care & your team members
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Knowledge of hygiene & cross contamination prevention.
* NVQ or similar preferred but not essential.
* Training to NVQ standard is available.
* A good understanding of English both written and oral is needed.
* Customer service experience.
* Full clean driving licence.
The successful applicant must be able to work as part of the team with trust built with the other team members.
Duties include,
Cleaning, Feeding, walking, grooming, interaction & play time.
The role is 5 days over 7 with alternate weekends
2 nights per week on call after training.
