Night Shift Warehouse Operative Chelmsford, England
Job description
We are a highly respected electrical wholesale company based in Chelmsford, who are currently in search for a Warehouse Operator in our busy warehouse on the night shift.
As the Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for:
- Stock management including maintaining stock levels, replenishing stock
- Loading and unloading various products of different sizes and weights, using forklift where applicable.
- Picking, packing orders correctly and to a high standard, including using various machinery to cut materials to order.
- Kit picking
- Ensuring general tidiness and cleanliness of warehouse.
- General warehouse duties
You will have some experience of working within a warehouse or goods in role and would be beneficial if held a forklift licence, although not essential as Forklift training will be provided. You will be working in a busy environment so need to be able to work on own initiative or as part of a team when required. You must have a current driving licence.
This is a full-time position working 19.00pm until 05.00am Monday – Thursday, Friday 18:00-23:00. The company is offering a competitive salary, paid monthly as well as opportunity to earn an annual bonus. Other benefits are 25 days holiday (pro rata), no bank holidays working. Full training will be provided.
