Job description
We are now looking for a friendly and energetic Night Receptionist to join our small front of house team at NOX HOTELS in order to help to ensure our guests have a memorable experience with us from arrival to departure. Please note, that a position we are offering - full time only.
Working Night Shifts only. You will have a range of responsibilities supporting the everyday operation of the reception functions of the hotel, the principal duties including:
Performing a full audit for your shift, and for the previous shifts to make sure all transactions balanced prior to closing your shift and performing end of day;
Managing reservations and queries online, by email, on the phone and in person with a can-do attitude;
Interacting politely and enthusiastically with all guests, ensuring they receive our friendly and efficient service;
Keeping the reception areas, lounge and lobby tidy and presentable at all times;
Ensuring all front office administrative processes are carried out in an orderly and efficient manner;
Accepting and dividing Linen and other deliveries over the night to the appropriate storage areas;

We want a pro-active, experienced Receptionist with a calm, organised approach who brings great people skills, a cheerful disposition and a flexible, can-do attitude. We are looking for someone who has the following attributes:
Ideally at least one year of experience in a similar role in a high quality hotel or serviced apartments;
Fluent in English to a native standard (written and spoken);
A great communicator, with excellent writing skills and a confident telephone manner;
With computer literacy skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel);
Experience working with a property management system (PMS) and OTA extranets;
Excellent attention to detail to ensure our high standards are maintained
