We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Night Security Officer. This is a great opportunity for an SIA qualified, customer focused individual to join our growing team.
This position requires an individual with high personal standards who has good leadership skills, the role also requires the successful candidate to be a proactive customer focused individual with an eye for detail and the ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels.
The successful candidate needs a methodical approach, exceptional planning, and communication skills with the ability to cope when being challenged, while remaining calm and professional at all times.
Responsibilities:
Patrol and monitor premises across Hull to maintain a safe and secure environment for vulnerable adults.
Maintain comprehensive records and complete detailed hand-over documents.
Conduct welfare checks where required.
Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems for any suspicious activities or incidents.
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed.
Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment.
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and handle stressful situations effectively.
- Working with vulnerable adults.
