The Basingstoke Country Hotel is a 100 bedroom-hotel that boasts a stylish Brasserie, offering casual dining and food for the whole family as well as providing traditional afternoon tea. The Hotel has 5 conference rooms catering for between 25 to 240 delegates providing for various events and wedding functions.Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a Night Reception Supervisor onto our team.
As Night Reception Supervisor, you will be required to:
- Anticipate guests needs wherever possible in order, to deliver an exceptional quality of service and in turn guest satisfaction.
- Assist the Reception Manager in the induction, training, and development of the team in line with hotel standards and procedures.
- Hold monthly departmental meetings, ensuring that all staff are fully trained and briefed on any changes or forthcoming events can demonstrate excellent product knowledge.
- Effectively supervise and control the operation of the department in the absence of the Reception Manager ensuring that all personnel can carry out their duties to the agreed departmental standards.
The successful candidate will be Opera trained and have similar experience in a 100+ bedroom hotel or 1 years’ experience as Reception Supervisor, you will be able to communicate with all line managers, staff, and guests.
