Best Western Nottingham Derby is an accommodation provider, based in Long Eaton, are seeking a Night Hotel Services Assistant for immediate start. This role is a lone working night position.
Responsibilities include securing and manning the building overnight, completing health and safety checks throughout your shift, being a point of contact for queries through the night, working with our third party welfare and security teams, assisting with guest laundry, cleaning of the main public areas, and helping with any other general hotel operations.
Applicants should be hard working and able to work in a fast-paced environment as the sole point of contact for all guests’ requirements. Confidence in dealing with customers and a can-do attitude are a must. Reliability and punctuality are very important, along with the ability to work to given standards, whilst being able to safely use your own initiative to problem solve.
You should be flexible and adaptable in terms of shift patterns, as shifts do vary. The shift timings are from 10.45pm until 7.00am, and will include regular weekend working. We will consider fixed shifts if this fits with our current staffing, however some flexibility is still required for holiday cover. Please note that some of your training may take place in the day.
