Come help shape the LEGO Group’s storytelling!

We are looking for an awesome colleague to support how we communicate about our business, our values, and our brands – with children as our role models!

We have an ambitious programme of strategic investments in areas such as digitalization, innovation and sustainability designed to create long-term growth.

Core Responsibilities

  • Be part of a fantastic team that plans and implements global brand and product PR and earned media activations - You have a mix of responsibility levels across projects and help support across the foundational work in the team, whilst starting to take ownership of PR activities
  • Help to deliver and host media & influencer events and visits at the LEGO® Campus in Billund, Denmark or other locations across Europe
  • Support across relevant media enquiries in relation to our products and campaigns, identifying opportunities to further the work of the LEGO Group through external communications
  • Be responsible for keeping our own channels, including the newsroom on LEGO.com, up to date with engaging content that is relevant to our brand and its strategic priorities.
  • Track campaign performance via media monitoring and a range of campaign measurement tools, including preparing evaluation reports and using data and analytics to create recommendations to inform future campaign planning.

Play your part in our team succeeding

Be part of an impactful, fast-paced communications team who are passionate about delivering exceptional quality work, innovating, learning, and caring for each other!

The role sits within the growing Brand & Portfolio Communications team with plenty of room to help craft our ambition and plans and increase the influence of Earned PR across the wider business. Day-to-day you will be supporting your external communications colleagues and working closely with a global PR community network.

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate has experience at either an earned agency (PR, social, comms) or an in-house Corporate Communications/Consumer team.

You have worked with media relations in a constantly evolving media landscape and gained a detailed understanding of earned media channels and how to establish and build stakeholder relationships.

Your superpowers will include:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Very strong organizational capabilities to support projects and key campaigns.
  • Strong project management and execution skills and ability to drive with high attention to quality and detail.
  • Experience with event management and media handling (not a pre-requisite or mandatory)
  • A genuine interest in working with earned/brand communications and storytelling, brand protection, and a constant drive to learn more – as well as a strong foundational understanding of media relations
  • The ability to network and navigate in a large global organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude to navigate challenges and hurdles in Earned workstreams

What’s in it for you?

Here are some of what to expect:

  • Family Care Leave – We offer enhanced paid leave options for those important times.
  • Insurances – All colleagues are covered by our life and disability insurance which provides protection and peace of mind.
  • Wellness – We want you to be your best self, so you'll have access to the Headspace App and lots of wellbeing initiatives and programmes run by local teams where you are based.
  • Colleague Discount – We know you'll love to build so from day 1 you will qualify for our generous colleague discount.
  • Bonus – We do our best work to succeed together. When goals are reached and if eligible, you'll be rewarded through our bonus scheme.
  • Your workplace – When you join the team you'll be assigned a primary workplace location i.e. one of our Offices, stores or factories. The hiring team will discuss the principles of our hybrid work model 'Best of Both', role eligibility and frequency with you during the recruitment process.

Children are our role models. Their curiosity, creativity and imagination inspire everything we do. We strive to create a diverse, dynamic and inclusive culture of play at the LEGO Group, where everyone feels safe, valued and they belong.

The LEGO Group is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity and equal pay regardless of e.g. race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, disability or gender identity.
