Our Nursing Home in Norwich, we provide safe and comfortable residential care.All of our 42 rooms come with en suite facilities and our nurses and carers are trained to the highest standards to provide care for those with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s or for those in need of care after a stroke.
Staff our Nursing Home speak a variety of languages including English, Romanian, Filipino Tagalog and Portuguese, allowing for easy communication. Rated five stars for hygiene, we provide homely meals throughout the day for residents to enjoy, with three set meals each day as standard.
Located close to a nearby river and plenty of green countryside, residents can relax in tranquil surroundings. A large, safe courtyard is located at our site in the centre of the home, where recreational activities are popular in summer.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting service users when required with all aspects of daily living.
- Support in training and supervision of junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care centre, under the supervision of senior staff members.
- Pay particular attention to assisting service users who have limited mobility or physical learning difficulties, making the best use of aids provided.
- Observe care planning needs for service users and complete written daily records as instructed in line with the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with service users and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the care centre.

Qualities/requirements/responsibilities:
- Has previous experience with a similar role
- Level 2 Health and Social Care is also desired or must be willing to work towards
- Positive and passionate about delivering a high quality of care expected in all our homes
- Able to work as part of an already friendly and hardworking team of like-minded carers
