Location: The Light House
This is a waking role, working from 10pm-7am within The Light House short breaks residential unit to maintain the safety of the young people overnight, along with the security of the building. The Unit is registered for up to 10 young people with learning disabilities, some of whom also have challenging behaviour or physical disabilities and complex medical conditions.
Positive, flexible and child centred staff are required to work with young people who wake during the night. All staff will be receiving enhanced medication training to enable them to meet the health needs of young people. All the young people have child centred Care Plans which enable’s the Night Staff meet their needs.
We are looking for experienced, positive staff who have a passion and commitment to working with disabled young people. You must have the ability to follow and contribute to care plans and maintain the smooth running of the unit overnight as well as working with day staff in sharing information.
