Job description
Porters are the heartbeat of NHS hospitals, making sure crucial goods and items are delivered where they are needed most. They also make sure patients are at the right place at the right time to get the treatment they need. We will cover costs for a DBS check if required for the role.

The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week. Hours are to be worked on a rota basis and you will need some flexibility as the rota covers a 24/7 period. The salary is £20,454 per year.
Main Duties of the Job
- Sort, document, transport and deliver patients (including deceased patients), goods and records to wards and departments. Some of which may be heavy.
- Comply with the Trust infection and control and health and safety policies
- To liaise with colleagues and patients
