We are searching for an ambitious newly qualified accountant to join this fantastic firm based in Fleet, Hampshire. The role would be suitable for someone recently qualified looking to take their first step up under the guidance and supervision of the firm's owner.

As a newly qualified ACA/ACCA accountant, you will be well versed in handling all aspects of owner managed businesses from preparing statutory accounts through to managing self assessment tax returns.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to speak to clients in a confident manner and is looking to take on more responsibility.

There will be a requirement to assist with some element of regular bookkeeping duties to serve the firm's current client base so we are also looking for someone who doesn't mind rolling their sleeves up in order to get the job done. A working knowledge of mainstream online accounting software systems such as Xero and FreeAgent will be essential.

You will act as a helping hand to the firms current ACA trainees in capacity of a mentor, however no previous people management experience is required.

About you:

• Newly qualified ACA/ACCA
• Knowledge of cloud accounting software (Xero, etc)
• Ability to prepare and file year end accounts
• Ability to prepare and file self assessment tax returns
• Confident and professional communicator

Both full and part time applications will be considered.

To be considered for this role you need to be currently based a reasonable distance from Fleet and have the right to work in the UK with no requirements of visa sponsorship.
