WHAT TO EXPECT
This role will support the creation, delivery, planning and integration of New Technologies programmes for Propulsion, ADAS and Digital / Service Products for ongoing and future Mys.
As a Programme Manager, you will be accountable for the delivery of new technology programme workstreams to agreed time, cost and quality targets.
You will lead in creating, maintaining and driving credible plans and establish pre-emptive and effective risk management to avoid issues.
The role will require to deal with a large cross-functional team across multiple locations and will be responsible for control of programme KPIs within targets.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Deliver New Technologies programmes (propulsion, ADAS, Digital / Service products) utilising project management techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned outcomes to support the achievement of strategic business objectives.
- Lead / support on projects and workstreams; from scoping to delivery, cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management, ensuring projects delivered to required time, quality and cost targets.
- Co-operate with Product Leads to manage current and future key technologies. integration in line with Vehicle programs roll out plan.
- Management of required governance/cadence, project gateway deliverables reporting, inc. risks & issues status.
- Use wider business experience to guide their own projects, sharing learning with functional peers across programmes.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Essential:
- Experience in a programme management role.
- Experienced at building effective cross functional relationships with strong stakeholder management skills at all levels.
- Evidence of leadership skills and ability to drive positive business outcomes.
- Demonstrable history of high performance based on end of year assessments.
- Experience leading delivery and integration across programme lifecycle, employing pre-emptive risk and issue management.
- Extensive knowledge of change management and cost processes.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity to pilot new business initiatives, whilst utilising existing programme management skills
- Strong track record of delivering process development and transformation projects with problem solving skills.
