We have an exciting opportunity for a Project and Change Manager experienced in Product Life Cycle Change Management (from Supply Chain to Tech Transfer) to work in our dynamic environment based at the Speke site in Liverpool.

Responsible for leading large, complex and novel projects and change, you’ll have the opportunity to work across the full breadth of our business, contributing to the development of our Site and Portfolio and supporting the potential growth of our Product into new markets.

Responsibilities

Working within an experienced PMO team, you'll be required to deliver a diverse range of projects from Brand Expansion to Asset Strategy Changes.

Self-motivated with a solid track record of managing projects, you'll have a technical background with an ability and aptitude for working with complex technical problems.

With a positive attitude, you will demonstrate the drive and collaborative skills to work effectively cross-functionally with the ability to handle cultural differences sensitively and negotiate different interests.

We'll look to you to identify risks and propose solutions, balancing the business needs and costs with a range of issues. This will include taking personal accountability for decision-making in risk management processes.

Engaging and with strong presentation skills, you will interact at different levels across different functions within the organisation, liaising with partners in order to negotiate with and positively influence the beliefs, opinions and behaviours of others. This will require well-developed networking and stakeholder management skills and cultural sensitivity.

Essential Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in a scientific, engineering or business discipline (or equivalent)
  • Large, complex Project and Program Management experience
  • Previous experience within a similar manufacturing or Pharma organisation
  • Deep understanding of global supply chain activities and processes
  • Ability to develop, manage and ensure compliance with business processes
  • Ambitious, with the ability to thrive on uncertainty and handle ambiguity
  • Demonstrate passion and energy to influence and sustain outcomes to set deliverable
  • Understanding of the Product Development process, especially Technology Transfer
  • Understanding of Regulatory and Commercial Functions

Desirable

  • Knowledge/experience of AZ Project Management and AZ Change Management
  • Knowledge of lean methodologies and ways of working
